Ronnie Robinson

Ronnie Burdette Robinson, age 78 of Newdale, finished his journey on this side Tuesday, April 27th, 2021. A native of Yancey County, he was born March 23rd, 1943 to the late Byrle and Bea McKinney Robinson.

Ronnie was a graduate of East Yancey High School and a retired truck driver. He was an active member of Martins Chapel United Methodist Church. He loved farming, spending time at Li’l Smoky’s and his faithful companion, Bella.

Surviving is his wife, Margarita Aguhob Robinson; daughters: Hannah Bea Robinson of Newdale, Tanya Tipton and husband Marvin of Newdale; sons: Chad Robinson and wife Samantha of Micaville, Todd Robinson and wife Nicole of Micaville; sister, Loretta Bryan and husband Edwin of Marion; grandchildren: Dalton Robinson and wife Alison, Dathan Robinson and wife Katie, Levi Robinson and wife Darby, Holly Robinson, Luke Randolph, Ally Randolph, Jaden Woody, Logan Buchanan and wife Kayla, Kelsey Tipton and Conner Tipton; great-grandchildren: Khloe Buchanan, Brindley Buchanan, Loretta Buchanan, Naomi Buchanan and baby Ruby Grace.

Services will be held Saturday, May 1st at 5 p.m. at Martins Chapel United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 3 p.m. until service time.
