Ronald Dean Fox, age 73 of Mine Fork, passed away Monday, January 11th, 2021 at Smoky Ridge Health & Rehabilitation, the same day as his beloved wife, Rachel Dean Fox. He was a son of the late John and Eula Lee Randolph Fox. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Dale Fox and great-grandchild, Ezekiel Warren.
Ronald worked many years at Henredon Furniture Company and he was a long-standing member of Yancey County Rescue Squad.
Surviving are daughters, Carol Warren and husband Charles and Della Fox and partner, Noah Styles; and sister, Janice Bennett, all of Burnsville; eight grandchildren: Josh and wife Dawn, Justin, Jordan, Aliyah, Amanda, Kacey, Nick and Jack; and one great-grandchild, Morgan.
Services will be held Friday, January 15th at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home. Reverends Josh Warren and Andy Willis will officiate. Internment will take place in the John E. Fox Cemetery in Burnsville.
