Raymond "Ray" Villano

On November 17th, 2020, Jesus called Raymond “Ray” Villano, age 76 of Spruce Pine, home. A native of Hudson County, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Nunzio and Tina Cecere Villano.

Ray was a proud U.S. Navy veteran and he worked as a Union Asbestos worker for over 30 years.

Surviving are his devoted wife of 53 years, Margaret “Maggie” Yaccarino Villano; children: Raymond Villano, Jr. of New Jersey, Christopher Villano of Pennsylvania, Peter Villano of Pennsylvania and Stephanie Yates of Clyde, North Carolina; brother, Patrick Villano of New Jersey; 10 grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

Private Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 19th in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home. Reverends Randall Phillips and Eugene Moore will officiate. Burial will take place Friday, November 20th in the Grassy Creek Baptist Church Memorial Gardens in Spruce Pine at 11 a.m.
