Rachel Dean Riddle Fox, age 76 of Mine Fork, passed away at home on Monday, January 11th, 2021, the same day as her beloved husband, Ronald Dean Fox. A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Cordelia Buchanan Riddle. She was also preceded in death by sister, Kay Bradford; brother, Roy Riddle; and one great-grandchild, Ezekiel Warren.
Surviving are daughters, Carol Warren and husband Charles and Della Fox and partner, Noah Styles, both of Burnsville; brother, David Riddle and wife Brenda of Burnsville; sisters: Anna McCurry and husband Edsel, Minnie Ogle, Molly Briggs and husband Robert, Margaret Walker, and Polly Fox and husband Phillip, all of Burnsville, Mildred Tomblin and husband Melvin of Connelly Springs, NC and Karen Johnson and husband David of Bakersville; eight grandchildren: Josh and wife Dawn, Justin, Jordan, Aliyah, Amanda, Kacey, Nick and Jack; and one great-grandchild, Morgan.
Services will be held Friday, January 15th at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home. Reverends Josh Warren and Andy Willis will officiate. Internment will take place in John E. Fox Cemetery in Burnsville.
