I.J. Miller

I.J. Miller, age 85 of Midway, TN, went home peacefully on Tuesday, September 29th, 2020. He was the son of the late Reverend Quince Miller and Birdie Woodby Miller. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Greg Miller in 1979. I.J. was a proud Navy veteran.

One of his many favorite things was farming and working the land. I.J. spent most of his life employed by Ingles Grocery, serving as a heavy diesel engine mechanic.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary Ann Waldrop Miller; son, David Miller of Midway, TN; brother, Harley Miller of Midway, TN; sister, Annabell Barrett of Tusculum, TN and granddaughter, Katelyn Miller of Midway, TN.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 3rd at 2 p.m. in the Higgins Cemetery in Burnsville. Visitation will be an hour prior at 1 p.m. in the chapel at Holcombe Brothers.
