Eugene Gilbert Randolph

Eugene Gilbert Randolph, age 93 of Burnsville, passed away Tuesday August 4th, 2020. Born July 29th, 1927 in Elizabethton, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Bis and Gertrude Proffitt Randolph. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Della B. Randolph, in 2010.

Eugene was a graduate of Bald Creek High School, Brevard Junior College and Wayne State University. He was a World War II Navy Veteran and served 27 years with City of Detroit, Michigan Police Department. He also was a longstanding member of Elk Shoal Baptist Church. Eugene was also a member of Bald Creek Masonic Lodge #392 A.F. & A.M. for over 60 years, a 32° Mason and Shrine.

Surviving are a brother, Bill Randolph and wife Pat of Burnsville; niece, Ali Randolph of Burnsville; nephews: Brandon and Branson Randolph of Burnsville; great-nephews: Lyryn and Sylus Randolph of Burnsville.

Graveside Services will be held at Holcombe Cemetery on Thursday, August 6th at 2 p.m. with Masonic grave rites conferred by Bald Creek Lodge. Rev. Stacy Elkins will officiate. 

Gene will lie in state Thursday prior to the service in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home.
