Donald Blevins Obituary

Donald Gene Blevins, age 73 of Burnsville, passed away Wednesday, May 5th, 2021 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. A native of Yancey County, he was the son of the late Louis and Mary Jo Branch Blevins. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Louise Blevins.

He was a Vietnam–era veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Surviving is his daughters: Carolyn Byrd and Lisa Simmons; sons: Coy Blevins and Gene Blevins; brother, Larry Blevins; and numerous grandchildren and great–grandchildren, all of Burnsville.

Private family services will be held.
