Charlotte (Buchanan) Carpenter

Charlotte Buchanan Carpenter ("Bean" as her grandchildren called her), age 71 of Green Mountain, passed away Monday, October 5th, 2020 at her home. She was a daughter of the late Charlie Monroe Buchanan and Kate McKinney Buchanan. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry Carpenter; sister-in-law, Dianna Stanley Buchanan and brother-in-law, Donald James Cowden, Sr.

She was retired from Eaton Manufacturing Corporation, where she was a dedicated employee for many years.

Charlotte is survived her beloved sons, Steve Carpenter and wife Wendy and Bradley Carpenter, all of Burnsville; brothers, Jerry Lee Buchanan of Spruce Pine and Gerald Wade Buchanan of Cary; sister, Judy Buchanan Cowden of Knightdale; grandsons, Andrew and Greyson Carpenter of Burnsville.

Her last wishes were that no formal services were to be held.
