Brian Morris Silvers

Brian Morris Silvers, age 41 of Burnsville, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023. A native of Yancey County, he was the son of Morris and Judy Silvers, and the father of Alex Silvers. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dewey and Barbara Silvers, and Bobby and Nora Belle Brown.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his loving parents and his son, Alex Silvers; brother, Brandon Silvers; as well as his aunts, an uncle, numerous cousins and his sister-in-law, Amanda Silvers.

Brian was a member of the West Burnsville Church of God. He loved attending church and the last several weeks he had been talking about looking forward to heaven. He loved being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He also loved going arrowhead hunting and making his own arrowheads. He worked in construction with his dad for many years. Brian was a true friend to all who knew him and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at the West Burnsville Church of God. The family will accept friends and loved ones one hour prior to the service for visitation. Pastor Randal Phillips will officiate. Burial will follow the service in the Jack Silvers Cemetery in Burnsville, NC.
